Platle is operated by Avalanche Labs. This page explains what we collect when you play at platle.xyz.

If you create an account we store your email, authentication records, and optional display name and avatar. Guesses, streaks, and play outcomes are stored so we can run the daily puzzle, show your stats, and rank public leaderboards. Guests are identified by a random id in your browser, not by email. Leaderboards show only the display name and avatar you choose — never your email.

We use this data to run the daily puzzle, keep your stats, operate public leaderboards, send sign-in and verification email, and improve the catalog. We do not sell your personal information.

Game data lives on Convex. The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Email is sent through Cloudflare Email Sending. If you use a social sign-in provider, that provider shares the account details you approve.

You can play as a guest without an email. On your profile you can change your display name, avatar, and whether you appear on leaderboards. To delete an account, contact Avalanche Labs from the address on the account.
